Maybe the Subway commercial isn't so bad after all
Here's a commercial from old Estonia...Trying very hard to sleep at night ever since watching it (see video).
Dumb Commericals We Have to Put up With
I started this blogsite today after hearing the most annoying commercial in a long time: Subway's infantile man crying in front of his wife and child for a Philly Cheese Steak. Have a watch, and draw your own conclusion...(Subway ad)
In college they taught us a about the five fundamentals of good advertising:
1. Get Your Attention
2. Show People an Advantage
3. Prove It
4. Persuade People to Grasp the Advantage of Your Product
5. Call to Action
So according to this textbook definition of good advertising Subway gets your attention with a whining sniveling parent showing you the advantage of staying out of their stores and proves it by forcing you to listen to his annoying voice and tone in repeating ad segments. The call to action - stay away from Subway.
Hopefully Subway will remove this annoying commercial and maybe use much better advertisement such as this one: (sexy subway ad)
